// pricing
Every environment is different. So is every quote.
We don't publish price lists that fit nobody. Each environment is scoped from its workload and requirements, and you receive a written quote before any work starts.
What pricing depends on
- Infrastructure sizeNumber and size of hosts across all tiers.
- Log volumeDaily ingest and peak rates drive compute and disk.
- RetentionHow long data is kept and searchable.
- Number of nodesGraylog, search and MongoDB members.
- Cloud providerProvider-specific networking, storage and automation.
- HA requirementsRedundancy, failure domains and failover testing.
- Maintenance scopeUpgrades, patching and change volume.
- MonitoringDepth of platform monitoring and alert routing.
- BackupBackup scope, frequency and restore testing.
- Support levelCoverage hours and response expectations.
Deployment
Fixed-scope projectDesign and build of a new environment, delivered as code with documentation.
Migration
Fixed-scope projectPlanned move to new infrastructure, versions or search backend, with cut-over and rollback.
Managed Infrastructure
MonthlyWe operate the platform: monitoring, patching, upgrades, capacity and backups.
Maintenance
Monthly or hours-basedHealth checks, upgrades and troubleshooting for environments you run yourselves.
Consulting
Time-boxedArchitecture reviews, sizing and edition evaluation with a written outcome.
Infrastructure costs are billed by your provider — ideally directly to your account. Commercial software licenses, if needed, are purchased from the vendor and are separate from our services.
// how quotes work
What a quote contains
Scope, assumptions and exclusions written out plainly. For projects, a fixed price or a clearly bounded estimate. For ongoing work, a monthly fee with the services and response expectations it covers.
We also estimate the infrastructure cost for your chosen provider, so you can see the total picture — even though that part is billed by the provider, not by us.
// what we need
To quote accurately
- Approximate daily log volume and peak rate
- Retention requirements per type of log
- Number and type of log sources
- Preferred infrastructure, or constraints on it
- Availability expectations and maintenance windows
- Whether you want a handover or ongoing operations
